Codex Beauty takes product claims very seriously. We won’t say a product will do something—whether it’s retain moisture or reduce wrinkles—unless we can prove it, using the most rigorous, scientific methods available.
Codex Beauty evaluates how well its products perform using the most rigorous testing methodology in the industry. Commonly referred to as “in-vivo” testing, this method involves applying a product onto the skin of human volunteers, in a clinical setting, under the supervision of a dermatologist, who then evaluates the results. Though more expensive than the more frequently used “in-vitro” testing, which assesses product performance on synthetic skin, Codex Beauty takes every measure possible to ensure its products always meet the highest standards.
